Personally, I've always had a soft spot for adventures that showcase the pleasure activities of the area - be it gambling, knivesies, blood pig....
While reading the Inner sea world guide information on the Donkey rat I had a adventure idea I though was really interesting. What if someone was opening a high end restaurant/tavern in a city, but didn't really like the aristocrats and politics of nobility. They get help from the PCs to go hunt creatures like the donkey rat, that are tasty, but frowned upon. As the PCs level, they can be contacted to hunt creatures for the restaurant's 'specials'. Who else is going to harvest enough cockatrices to serve a city's nobility for a week? You know the queen just asked if we could serve red dragon steaks at her coronation, and the PCs are the only ones who can hunt down a red dragon.
Normally hunting these things a lot would put you behind the wealth table... but they're selling the meat back to the resturant

I did something like that a long time ago, having a carnival owner as the PCs' patron, financing them on sandbox-like adventures looking for freaks and novelties for his carnival.
I think it's mostly sandbox: go to this or that wilderness to find this or that exotic food, then go to another, etc.
Do your Players like Sandbox adventures? It could be lots of fun.
(I'd fluff out the aristocrats enough so that the PCs hate them too, otherwise they might not like their patron or what he feeds the aristocrats.)

Near the end of the Age of Worms AP there are some interesting foods....
"Prince of Redhand"
Dungeon 131 or 2?
You could add
chuul legs,
broiled flumph,
gug burgers, all kinds of yummy stuff.
Man, all this talk is making me hungry for elf flesh (served on a bed of dwarf beard).

I think I may insert the bartender into my current CotCT campaign, and see how people take to him.
Jigsaw shark and Sargavin boar are both also mentioned as food sources in the ISWG
