Fun places to hang out on the interwebs?

Technology

I come to these messageboards because it's a fun place to hang out. I used to hang out on Facebook because it was a fun place with lots of stuff to do but it's pretty dull and boring now. There's a few other places I frequent but I'd like to find something new.

So besides Facebook, Twitter and the Paizo messageboards, where do you hang out on the internet (or are maybe wanting to check out)?

Try 4chan.

Not responsible if your head or computer explodes.

Liberty's Edge

FARK and Reddit.

I would avoid 4chan.

I check in at Cracked.com daily. (best comments section on the interwebs)
Also, youtube.

Dark Archive

If you are looking for a broader discussion of RPGs, particularly older D&D campaign settings, try the Piazza. The Paizo board is great for discussing Pathfinder, but for other settings like Mystara, Planescape, The Scarred Lands, or even you own homebrew world, nothing beats the Piazza.

I used to frequent FARK about 10 years ago. Forgot all about that site. I'll have to check it out again.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Keep 'em coming.

Just want to second TheWhiteKnife with Cracked.com

I love that site.

Also for video reviews, I check in at That Guy With The Glasses daily.
Nostalgia Critic is awesome. :)

I like Why Evolution Is True, because I'm a science dork.

Cracked is funny. Guys in charge are jerks.

tvtropes.org

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I like Bang Brothers.

Spoiler:
I guess I should mention that that site is NSFW or children.

Grand Lodge

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Mine is a new place I have found on Facebook.
The Pathfinder Society and Southern California Pathfinder society Facebook groups

I like Cracked; just checked out Reddit...it's proving sorta hard to glean through the b.s. there.

badassoftheweek.com is where I learn all of my peoples' (i.e. badass) history.

When you get over how horrid it is, it's all actually quite dross.

Much like Jerry Springer, only with 10 more i.q. points per capita, which makes it all the more insipid.

I like to hang out on >Japan Airlines'< website.

I just came across this today. Looks promising.

Misanthropy Today

Fark
Memebase family of sites.

Between the two you get the gold from 4chan but don't have to dig through refuse to get it.

If you want to do a throwback to the late 90's try this online 2-D space game called Trench Wars.

They still have a community and an in-game chat. Plus the game is fun to play too.

Kingdomofloathing.com

No better community I've found since when I was on the old discworld mud.
