Synthesist Summoner Eidolon Suit Rules Inquiry (Functioning States and Reforming)

Rules Questions

Greetings
I am thinking of making a synthesist summoner for an upcoming game, and have a few questions.
First, can the eidolon suit assume a non-functioning state or be turned off? I can see it become a major problem to have the suit on all the time, as it could be very unsettling to townsfolk or if the eidolon was large it could be problematic to get into buildings
Second, how is the eidolon suit reformed once it is destroyed? Is it resummoned like a normal eidolon or does it reform once its temp hit points are "healed"?
Finally, how are "extra limb" evolutions handled? can wings and tails be used if the summoner does not have wings or a tail?

Many Thanks

1) You could dismiss it while entering the city and invoke it on exit. But there's no on/off switch.

2) As normal eidolon. Nothing changes this in the archetype. The Temp HP are actually eidolon's HP, that's all.
3) Yes, since the form overlaying you will be able to use them.

By invoke you mean the visual overlay of the eidolon over the summoner, correct? would dismissing the overlay effect the abilities granted by the eidolon suit?

Thanks again

Yes. You still use your eidolon as a standard summoner, and it's still an eidolon, not just a "visual overlay".

Think it the same way as if you weren't synthesist and you wouldn't like to bring a large dragon-like eidolon: You dismiss it, loosing your eidolon at your side. But in that case, you loose it from "over you". You can then invoke it as any summoner could call his eidolon back (should it be by standard ritual that takes 1minute or by the spell Summon Eidolon.

Awesome! Glad I got that cleared up. Thanks again
