Templated Undead Giants vs. dwarves and gnomes

How does do templated Undead Giants (dread zombie, vampire, lich, etc) interact with Defensive Training?

Alot of the templates just make the giants "Undead". Do you still get the +4 dodge against these former giants?
Do you only get the +4 dodge against intelligent undead giants?

The monster entries seems to be hit or miss if these things are still giants.

If the now undead templated Giant retained his inteligence, would they still fight like a giant? And then you still get the +4 dodge?

Other undead templates (zombie, dread zombie, and skeleton) allow the newly formed undead to keep their giant subtype.

What is your opinion on the matter?

Anything that adds the undead and lets them keep the giant subtype allows you to keep your defensive training; anything that replaces giant with undead drops it. It's the same as a giant bane sword or any other giant specific thing. Favored enemy human rangers work pretty good against human zombies for instance.
