Help a poor barbarian chef out.

A while ago I read a post on another site that brought up a cool character idea, a barbarian who wants to be a great chef. He kills his own ingredients, searches for rare spices and vegetation, and cooks it all at the campsite and taverns. What I would like is a prestige class that go's along with this concept. I would do it myself but I just can't seem to get my head around it. any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You need to yell. A lot. And swear.

And name yourself Gordon.

Shadow Lodge

DONKEYS!! that's hilarious. I'm a big Ramsey fan and Iron Chef nut, that's the reason I'm working on this character

:)

You should watch Kitchen Nightmares. It's bascially Iron Chef visits your UK restaurant. It's a different side of his personality.

I know, somewhere out there, is a purely cooking prestige. It was a halfling god thing, but eventually purely through cooking skill you could cast "feast of heroes".

Adamant Entertainment put out a book about cooking.

Obviously it's not Paizo, so may not be allowed.

But it has 3 PrCs! Including the Adamantine Chef!

Definitely make a Human for the Heart of the Fields racial trait. Half level to profession and free fatigue/exhaustion cleanse would fit like a glove.

Can we maybe look at a barbarian interior decorator instead?

We can name her Martha.

"Did I not ask for merlot?"

Another thing to consider, if you wanting to embrace the magical side of things and had a generous dm, would be to take the Master Craftsman feat and the Craft Wondrous Item for your profession (chef) skill to make magical foods. Or simply a level or two of alchemist (for brew potion) but reskinning it to have a sort of primal cooking focus.

Shadow Lodge

I'm envisioning a reskin take on the Alchemist. Instead of potions, it's confections!

Shadow Lodge

Thanks to all for the great ideas. I'm gonna pick up that cooking splat book for sure.
