Constructs and Damaging Objects

Rules Questions

The rules say that range weapons does half damage to objects.

So I was wondering if Constructs like golem or other creatures that are considered objects suffer only half damage from ranged attacks?

Golems are not considered to be objects. They are considered to be creatures. They take full damage.

Even animated objects takes full damage.

PS:DR and hardness still apply of course.

Umm Ok. I thought they count as objects as well as creatures since construct type says: Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects, or is harmless).

According to that sentence it seems that things that affects objects can affect constructs.

Undead have the same sentence though, and they are not objects.

That ability is just there to make them immune to most fort save based effects.

+1 to wraithstrike, he is right.

I do not play by RAW and treat animated objects and golems as objects, giving them hardness and other qualities, but that is a houserule.
