I know a youngster that is interested in playing the game. When I asked him what sort of character he would like he was very detailed!
I explained the basic classes and he liked the idea of a character "with magic in his blood". When we started talking bloodlines he rejected everything in the core manual, and asked if he could be an "ooze sorcerer". He likes comic books and I think he is seeing a cross between Venom and the Sandman, only a hero.
Any suggestions on where to go with this? I would love him to have a character he is excited about, and even more so because he is interested in story (and backstory) more than "winning".

How about a Summoner archetype?

The synthesist directs all of the eidolon's actions while fused, perceives through its senses, and speaks through its voice, as the two are now one creature."
That's the closest thing I can think of right off hand.
It isn't the easiest build persay, but you'll be there to help out?

If he don't want to use the druid (cave druid), you can modify the sorcerer.
Ooze bloodline (just... how your mom did it?! XD)
Knowledge dungeon as class ability.
Bloodline magic: you gain blind sense whenever you cast a spell for 1d4 rounds, 1.5 m x spell level radius.
1 level: acid touch. You can use it a number of times per day equal to 3+your cha modifier. It requires a touch attack, and deals 1d6 dmg plus 1 damage / level (for example 1d6 +5 at 5th, and so on).
At 5th level, the acid last for 1 round and this attack gain a 1.5 range increment for reach (he can use it against target in 3 mt radius if caster natural reach is 1.5)
At 7th level the damage increase to 1d8 + 1 / level.
At 11 level it apply everytime the sorcerer is struck by an attack or natural attack or unarmed strike (not if the weapon has reach).
At 3rd level add oozes in summon monster list, with the appropriate CR for spell level.
9th level add +25% to ignore critical and sneak attack and precision dmg. At 13th it becomes 50%, and 75% at 17th.
15th You can use your acid touch in conjunction with a touch spell (adding the damage and gaining reach for that attack).
20th you gain immunity to critical and sneak attack. You gain a bonus equal your sorcerer level to escape artist, and you can use your acid touch at will.
This is just an idea, made in few minutes. Use it, make the feat list and enjoy :)
As a reference, serpent bloodline, verdant, draconic and aberrant could help.
