Tetori ReWrite

Ok, so it is well known (at least on the forums) that the Tetori from UC is completely broken because the book editors (Managing Editor: F. Wesley Schneider; Editing: Judy Bauer, Christopher Carey, Erik Mona, Mark Moreland, and James L. Sutter) failed to notice that the list of Bonus feats that the Tetori has to take includes three feats that don't exist, namely
Level 2: Crushing Embrace
Level 10: Twin Lock
Level 18: Back Breaker

Now I can make another long rant about how ridiculous this is and how angry I am at Paizo for such a clear error. But this isn't rant threat.

The point of this thread is the rewrite the Tetori class, or more specifically, the bonus feats section to make the Tetori a playable class.

UC several new Grappling feats that could be used to replace the missing feats. The Grapple Feats in UC are as follows
Body Shield: use person as cover, +6 BAB
Bonebreaker: SF to grappled opponent, drop stun deal 1d6 Str/Dex dmg, heal 9
Chokehold: -5 check, guy can’t breath, monk lvl 5
Felling Escape: when break grapple, get free trip
Jawbreaker: SF to grappled, drop stun 1d4 bleed can’t speak w/o heal, Heal 6
Neckbreaker: if pinned, -5 to hit SF, deal 2d6 Str/Dex dmg, heal 12
Pinning Knockout: pinned, double nonleathal dmg, monk lvl 9
Pinning Rend: pinned, bleed = dmg, monk lvl 9
Rapid Grappler: maintain as swift action (this seems to allow full attack action) Monk 9
Stunning Pin: swift to SF Pinned,

The Level 18 Bonus Feat seems to me to be the easiest to replace. Just sub in Neckbreaker instead, easy. This helps to maintain the flavor of the original ability (or at least as much flavor as you can determine from only the name of the ability).

For Twin Lock, there is nothing in the list that jumps out immediately like Neckbreaker did. From the name Twin Lock probably allowed you to Grapple multiple opponents w/o or a reduced penalty. W/o writing the feat myself that leaves me with discarding it and using something else in it's place. From the list above, I think the best options would be the 3 feats that require Monk lvl 9: Pinning Knockout, Pinning Rend, and Rapid Grappler. Another possibility is Body Shield, but I feel that the other 3 are more aggressive and more in line with the flavor of the class. I think the best would be Rapid Grappler, it flows well from the Improved and Greater Grapple line.

Finally, and really the most difficult feat to replace is Crushing Embrace at level 2. From the name it seems like it would allow additional damage while grappled, free unarmed damage once per round or something like that. Same as with Twin Lock, nothing really jumps out at me as an easy replacement. The other problem is that there are few feats that aren't overpowered for a level 2 player. The only 2 that are appropriate are Felling Escape and Stunning Pin. Felling Escape isn't bad, but w/o Improved Trip this should Provoke an AoO, and since I've never actually seen a monk take Combat Expertise, this seems like a poor choice. So that really leaves us with Stunning Pin.

Thoughts?

You think the tetori is completely broken to the point of calling out the editors by full name because it's missing 3 feats?

I don't know if I agree that it's *completely* broken but it's definitely broken enough that I'm never buying another Paizo product, at least in print. Typos and unclear rulings are one thing, but sending out a beta version of a book to final print is unacceptable. That said, I like the idea the OP has of swapping in feats, just have to be careful to match the power of the feat to the level where the monk can take it.
