Quick Summon Animal Companion

Your affinity with animals allows to quicker access to a companion.

Prerequisites: Animal Companion class feature; Wild Empathy class feature

Benefit: You may make an animal that is friendly to you, such as when affected by the Wild Empathy class ability, your animal companion allowable by your class in a ceremony taking eight hours.

Normal: You take 24 hours to summon a new animal companion that is within the area.

Es good?

It's honestly not worth a feat. Like, at all. Taking an animal companion is something some druids do only once, and most usually do 2-5 times throughout their career. While it's annoying to have to perform a full ritual over 24 hours, the scarcity of need makes it mostly fluff and flavor. Taking a feat that lessened it from 1 day to 1 sleeping period is an improvement. Well, right up until you realize that the time your party is resting is going to be spent summoning an animal, so you'll still need to sleep later (16 hours) and it all becomes just as much of a plot derailment as it was before.

If this is something you're interested in doing, and doing well, I'd recommend lessening the ritual to an hour. I suppose this could be very beneficial for the druid who wants to test drive as many different animals as possible, or the druid who wants to have the right animal for the adventure. This could lead to a disposable animal companion, or a rotating companion that joins you to better itself and leaves when your interests no longer coincide- which has fantastic roleplaying potential.
