Additional recruitment for homebrew campaign.

Gamer Connection

Due to recent member loss, I'm looking for 2-3 new players to join a game already in progress. Starting level 5, Core Rulebook, APG, and my homebrew options are all fair game. Anything else, including 3.5 mix & match with approval.
The setting and a PC guide area available here
The story so far is available Here
Looking for players of any experience level who are willing to post roughly once every two days.
I look forward to seeing any builds and backgrounds. and to working with you folks. It promises to be alot of fun.

Gots an idea for a monk martial artist archetype if your interested. Based off of Sanosuke from ruroni kenshin. Also got someone with a summoner who wants in with me.

Let me see what you've got for background/stats and that sounds great. I forgot to mention, 15 point-buy.

I think I'm going to be putting up a monk in direct competition :( Probably have it up tomorrow night for perusal.

The monk feats you've added make it attractive.

What races are you allowing?

Dotted. will have a halfling rog backstory and stats up this afternoon.

I'd be interested in this. I have several characters I could play depending on what seems to fit the party best. I've got a summoner synethesist (sp?) ready, a sniper rogue, a brilliant old Archivist, or a staff-master magus.

...Just to name a few. *Shrug* I like making characters. Of the characters I can submit right away I have the gnome summoner stat'd and ready right now. But I can have the others in a couple hours. Looks like fun!

@ Joy: I'll allow any race except drow/drow noble (more for story than anything) Just make sure you include the appropriate level adjustment for any monstrous races and be aware that they will be treated as a monster in certain circles.
@MuadQuim: spelling is synthesist I believe. That fits well with the overall "Team Gish" theme we have.

I can get this transfered offer to a character sheet when we play but here he is. Ignore the Inner Sea backstory. We can conjure something up more setting specific later. :P

Birch is a young Gnome and the son of an Absolonian diplomat. Gifted with a smooth tongue, he got himself in more than his fair share of trouble among his friends at the Arcane University. Most times though, the mention of his father's name or a quick witted retort was all he needed to get out of a tough scrape. Birch's rhetorical hubris would be his downfall however. One night, while egging on a couple of his more magically gifted friends at the University, the three gnomes unleashed a horrifying spellblight. The magical disease broke Birch's body and seared a wing of the Arcane Library with extraplanar energies for months. Expelled from school, Birch was immediately transferred to the Clockwerk Cathedral, where he was taught basic working discipline and the means to summon an arcane construct to aid his movements. Birch quickly seized on this new form of power and now wears his Eidelon, "Maria", as an extension of his body.

Also, this is 20 point buy. I can change it depending on you.

15 point buy, if you please, but otherwise this looks fine. You've really dumped STR on the caster's side, but that's your choice. We'll chat about backstory if you want to make it a bit more plot-specific. You just need to remove reference to specific Inner Sea locations etc. Otherwise, I look forward to working with you.

Others?

Liberty's Edge

I'll get in on this. Let me work up a character.

EDIT: Ok, looking at the story, what classes you have and what you need, I have a proposal. I'd like to take a stab at the Reincarnated Druid alternate class feature ( http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/druid/archetypes/paizo---druid -archetypes/reincarnated-druid ) from the Ultimate Magic paizo sourcebook.

I thought it would be interested to have my character actually be killed during during the Drow encounter, and then I'll roll on the Reincarnation table to see what race I reincarnate as. Given that the class ability means that I appear in a "safe place" and one of the only safe places in the area would be with the PCs, it would make sense. I also think it would be interesting to start with no items, unless I can convince the party to go back and get my body.

Backstory and character personality pending approval.

Is there a place for a two-handed weapon fighter? I can rework this character up to level 5 if necessary.

posting for character check if needed. I only purchased basic gear no magic. Also havent set any gold amount unless there is a certain amount you decide we start with.

Working up a backstory now from Startville originally but living in Royalton trying to join up with the crime syndicate.

I can go on from there if it fits in your story line.

This is all great. I'm seeing a lot of good stuff.

Wealth Question: Use standard wealth (10,500 for level 5 PC's I believe)
@ProfM- Go ahead and give me some more detailed background and stats, but this looks like a fine concept.

@Malhasturian the Red- There's a place for whatever you like, we will probably be a bit heavy on the front-line types, but that's the DM's issue, not the player's. Play a character you want to play, not what you think the group needs. go ahead and boost up to level 5 though. 15 point buy.

@Sumatek- Awesome build. I'll suggest as you build backstory that the Feather and Fang Guild is particularly a haven for monstrous humanoids. A halfling would be a fine choice and there are a number of named halflings in the organization, but just something to think about.

I also didnt see if you were using traits by birth or social or whatever.

10500 np adjusting gear

two traits of your choosing. as per the standard rules, you can't have two traits of the same kind ( combat, regional, etc)

Backstory and finished character posted for review

Looks good to me. You'll be added in for the next round of play.

Looks fine prof M, would you like some help with backstory, or do you want to take care of it yourself?

I have been following the current story from the link above. I believe the group is in combat with some driders. Dotting it and waiting for a lead in to the story. Also could you plead link map and story so I know I'm looking at the correct one. Thanks in advance

Muadquim and ProfM: Would you like to get started with some action, or would you like to get backstories finished first? I'm fine with either, but I would like you to use an Alias for your character in-game. It just adds a certain something to the immersion and it makes it easier for me to check your stats by just clicking your picture.

Backstory:
After her trader parents lost her in a market the local monastery of monks took her in. She showed great natural talent with the monk movements but was attracted to using polearms in combat with surprising efficiency.

Eventually her affinity with less conventional monk weapons got her thrown out of monastery and has been wandering aimlessly around helping people where ever she's found them.

I know the ability boost items may be a bit cheesy, but I couldn't find reasonable ways for a monk to spend the lvl5 starting cash otherwise. Also the character is viewable in google docs although I don't know if everyone can view that.

Looks great to me. I'll put you in next round.

If you have an idea for where to fit him/her in to your homebrew universe, I can work with that.

Not a lot to go on just yet. There are certainly some long lineages in the world of Terra Vicis. I could see you perhaps being an ex-guard at the Null Zone. You spent much time researching the timeless qualities of the zone and pondering its mysteries. He has yet to realize that some aspect of the Null Zone's eternal nature have become a part of him. One day, he finally finished his term and was let to explore the world at large, spreading his knowledge. He came shortly to Startville and was promptly kidnapped. He has been trapped in the drow city ever since.

Savvy?

Savvy?

Aight.

Backstory:
Witness is somewhat a legend around the Null Zone, and to the younger human guards and soldiers he was as immovable and unchangeable a sight as the Zone itself, the strangeness of a dwarf that can talk to trees worn down to normality by sheer weight of years. He's been researching the Zone and it's effects on the nearby environment for almost as long as he can remember - certainly for the last 160 years or so, which means that he's seen three generations of the younger races come and go from his forest shack. Before that, Witness figures that the descending warhammer that is his earliest clear memory must have scrambled his brains a bit - the dim and confused memories that precede that event usually don't make any sense and some (such as vaguely recalling being present at the groundbreaking of Royalton) are impossible.
The last 50 years of observation have provided no new data, so Witness finally decided that it was time to do a little exploring. Thinking perhaps to see if he could track rumors of Zone-like activity in other, desolate places of the world, he traveled to Startville and set about gathering supplies. His canny eye for purchases and obvious skill attracted the wrong kind of attention, however, and he found himself on a drow slaving cart, watching the cave ceilings roll by through eyes paralyzed open by crossbow poison. Since then he bides his time in the slave pens, with a sense that a great change is coming growing every day.
