Eberron PBP - Mournland 'Revealing' homebrew

So, to be quite honest, I'm in a pickle with this one. I'm seeking interest first, to see if anyone is interested in this campaign. I already have one player locked in (A unique cleric). This was a campaign that I had started a few years ago with a group here at home. The group fell through, and I didn't want to continue it with them any longer. I hope to resurrect it here!

So, again, at this moment - Just curious if anyone would be interested, so please don't start posting character sheets and such.

I'd prefer players with a bit more intimate knowledge of Eberron, its history, and those who've read some novels. I'd be utilizing Pathfinder rules, but the Eberron Campaign setting. All classes/Races from the pathfinder rules would be welcome, as long as there is a story to validate the concept. I would also be allowing all alignments, except for Neutral Evil and Chaotic Evil. Lawful evil would only be allowed if there was a specific reasoning, applied by a story, for it.

This campaign would start in Aundair (The Capital - Fairhaven), move to Breland, and then, ultimately, end up in the Mournlands. The idea is you may, potentially, discover what caused the entire event. Or, at the very least, get an amazing story out of the entire fiasco. However it will take you across the continent.

Any interest? If so, I may quiz you. ^_^ I still have a lot of adaptation items (such as traits) that I still need to produce for the story. If you have any questions what so ever, let me know. I check these boards very avidly.

Consider me interested. I own most of the 3.5 Eberron rule books and have read a couple of the novels. I've also run many of the published adventures, including those from Dungeons magazine. However, I've only recently returned to the setting after having not run/played in it for a few years, so my knowledge is rather rusty. The campaign you describe sounds like it would be an excellent oppertunity to get re-acquainted.

Definitely interested. I'm a big pre-4E Eberron fan (own all of the 3.5 Eberron books and most of the published adventures and have read all of the novels). I've kept my eye on several of the Eberron race/class conversion-to-Pathfinder threads here on the Paizo boards, and have toyed with the idea of starting up an Eberron PbP here as well. I'd love to play in the campaign you're describing.

I am interested as well. I have read all of the novels by Keith Baker (the Dreaming Dark and the Thorn series) and the Lost Mark Trilogy but nothing else of Eberron fiction. Most of my knowledge in the setting revolves around the Mournland and Sharn (Breland) as I plan on running a mini-campaign in these two areas.

Color me interested as well. I'm a huge fan of the setting, posses a wealth of knowledge about it and currently play in two other Eberron PbP on the boards.

I even have a concept in mind, though I won't discuss it till its appropriate :-)

A lot of the ideas for the campaign came from the 'Heirs of Ash' series, as well as some from 'The Dragon Below' & 'Legacy of Dhakaan' series's.

The Exchange

I'm interested, although I don't really have a concept yet. I never read any of the novels, but I got really into the campaign setting as soon as I found it. I introduced my gaming group to it, and we played around with pretty much all of the Eberron stuff. I was always a fan of Warforged Artificers.

definitely very interested! I'm a huge fan of Eberron and gm'd it for years. I'll get working on a concept.

I'd be interested. I have followed Eberron through it's 3.5 lifespan... 4e lost me though. I only read the first Keith Baker trilogy and Queen of Stone. I think I read the Orb of Xoriat and this book about Rakshasa. So I know a bit.

I've always wanted to play in an Eberron setting.

So, interest is here... :)

I'm interested, although i played a lot of Eberon during 3.5, i haven't kept up with it since 4e days. Also I've no history with the novels but i have played and read the setting books extensively. If you're not hung up on the novel thing, I'd accept the opportunity to be quizzed!

Ah, well, I guess I should've mentioned that I only played the 3.5e as well! Honestly, 4e turned me into a boycotter of WotC anyways - so anything involving it I avoid now (unfortunately).

I was a big fan of Eberron and tried a game here, but I didn't manage to make it stick.

I'm interested, but I would need to know a little more about the story and what brings the group together.

I'm interested. I have a lot of the Eberron books, and played in it a bit once, so while I'm not an expert, I do have a solid grasp of the basics.
