Scroll Feats?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I could have sworn that I had read some feats that closely mimiced the cypher-mages abilities with scrolls, such as using you're caster level instead of the scrolls (Kinda like staff like wand, but for scrolls)... Am I mistaken? Now that I'm looking for it, I cant find it anywhere?!?! Any Help?

At the moment I cant recall such feat but there is Scrollmaster class feature that replaces Wizard's 10th level bonus feat: Scrollmaster - improved scroll casting.

The worst part is that I feel like there was even something in the discription that said "This ability was discovered by the cyphermages of riddleport but have sense spread to other parts of golaran" or something to that effect.

The only book I could imagine saying something like that is Inner sea World guild (which is at a friends house) or Inner Sea Magic (which I only have a PDF of and can't find anything like that).

The Inner Sea World Guide has the Cypher Magic and Cypher Script feats, both of which were developed by the Cypher Mages.

Ah, thanks, that must be what I was thinking of!

Well there is the 10th level power from this archetype:

Scrollmaster

Spoiler:
Improved Scroll Casting (Su)

At 10th level, the scrollmaster can cast a Wizard spell from a scroll and use his own Intelligence score and relevant feats to set the DC for the spell, and can use his own caster level if it is higher than that of the scroll (similar to a caster using a staff ). The scrollmaster must have already deciphered the writing on the scroll to use this ability.

This ability replaces the 10th-level Wizard bonus feat.

then the only feat is: Cypher Magic

Spoiler:
Cypher Magic

Your intimacy with runes and the mysteries of ancient arcana has taught you secret ways to draw greater power from magical writings. These unusual methods were initially devised by the Cyphermages of Riddleport, but they have since spread far and wide through the Inner Sea region.

Prerequisites: Intelligence 15, Scribe Scroll.

Benefit: You cast spells from scrolls at +1 caster level higher than the scroll’s caster level. This benefit extends to scrolls that you have created. In addition, you gain a +2 bonus on caster level checks made to activate a scroll with a higher caster level than your own.
