vital strike

in the core rulebook says "when you use the attack action" but it never specifies whether is a standard action or if you can use vital strike feat in one attack as part of a full attack action, im confused plese help!

Did you check the FAQ?

Frequencly Asked Question (FAQ) lists the answer. Because it was frequently asked.
It is its own seperate action called attack action, which is a standard action.
