Advice on an accent

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Okay, so I have a character I'm working on whose voice I can't quite figure out. She is a Half-Elf born in Katheer, raised by her mother(Elf) and father(native Keleshite). Because of this I imagine she learned Common, Elven, and Kelish all around the same time and as such her accent is a mixture of an Elven accent and a Kelishite accent, most likely heavier on the Kelishite accent(but we'll see). I also figure that her accent isn't all that thick since she speaks common fluently.

The issue is that I can not for the life of me figure out what that sounds like. I've tried to listen to audio clips and videos of various accents but I haven't found many good sources, which has proven very frustrating. Can anyone help me out on this? All help and advice shall be appreciated.

What about the hybrid accent Marina Sirtis used to play Troi on TNG? It was a deliberate hodge-podge and not too thick.

I personally would do it with an Irish brogue, just to screw with the other people at the table, but that's just me

Oh wow, got caught up in work and completely forgot about this thread.

Troi doesn't quite have the accent that I'm going for, but that is a good reference/starting point. Might be able to springboard something off of that. Thanks, I never would have thought of her.

Well I won't actually be using the accent at the table. I have no tongue for accents(though when I do do one it is actually Irish). Also the character is a girl(my first to play at a table) and she is already giving me enough trouble without trying to do a voice.
