At the end of the session last night, our party Witch was disintegrated last night and as he is beast-bonded, his soul now resides in his familiar. How can he get a body back?
Twin Soul (Su)
At 10th-level, if the witch or her familiar is gravely injured or about to die, the soul of the dying one immediately transfers to the other’s body. The two souls share the surviving body peaceably, can communicate freely, and both retain their ability to think and reason. The host may allow the guest soul to take over the body temporarily or reclaim it as a move action. They can persist in this state indefinitely, or the guest can return to its own body (if available) by touch, transfer into a suitable vessel (such as a clone), or take over another body as if using magic jar (with no receptacle).
We are 10th level and the DM was not intending to wipe him out, he said that he only felt ok about hitting him with a disintegrate from a much higher level caster because the twin soul thing would let him survive. The problem now is that we have to figure out how it works getting his body back.
Yes, I searched for other threads that talk about this, but they didn't really help. I think that we all would like some direction about how it might work for the witch to get a body. Cloning is out because he hasn't made one or saved part of his own flesh...so it seems like the magic jar route would be the only option but the wording of the class feature combined with the spell is confusing.
I'm looking for advice about options for the witch to get his body back with magic jar. I realize that the DM could wave his hand and make something happen, but I think we would all like it better if it was based on the rules in some way. I realize there may or may not be differing opinions on how this all works, but keep in mind that no one wants the witch player to be out of luck, and it was not some sort of ploy to get an advantage. In my mind, it is a situation that is perfect for this ability, Witch dies and his special ability allows him to save his soul in his familiar. The witch wants a body back, please help!

Wish or Miracle can create a new body.
Reincarnate wouldn't work as he isn't "Dead" unless your DM wanted to declare that for the effects of Reincarnate he was (Since Reincarnate creates a new body for them to inhabit and there needs to be a portion of the dead body to touch you can stretch the rules and say the familiar counts as part of the body for this or that the pile O' dust that he was counts)
