Damn. What a good first day of Pathfindering!
w00t!
I really like the small and medium sized conventions...that I can meet almost everyone and get to see how they play makes it a blast. Today was a good day.
I met some new friends: new PFS players who risked coming out to play with a bunch of yahoos. We showed them a good time.
I ran into a slew of old friends: people I've met and talked to over the years at Cons...and I see at a few Cons every year. I love that.
I was blown away by the judging of Sarta. He ran First Steps: Intro 2 for me and just blew me away. He's a really really good judge. Solid all the way around...new the rules, was patient with the new players, roleplayed well, all the things I love to see.
It's a mixed blessing to play at a table with that good of a judge, of course. It's tough to know that there is someone that much better than you, but it's also nice to have something to strive for. I like having a role model.
Anyhoot, much more PFS this weekend. I'm excited about it.

Damn, what a nice Convention.
We ran about 30 tables over 10 slots on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
We had lots of walkins and new players introduced to PFS while still running a slew of mid tier scenarios.
We had tremendous contributions from our elite judging pool for which I am grateful:
A Sloth from Shafter
Will J. aka Sarta
George R.
Nathan B.
Scott K.
Jonathan D.
Will L. (all star)
Darrel P.
Chris E.
Thanks to all the attendees as well for coming.
Yeah Pacificon! w00t!

Bah! Pain, you are being both far too generous and far too modest at the same time.
I had a wonderful time this convention. Everyone was great to play with. The grand melee was a lot of fun to run and I'm very jealous of the players who scored such wonderful chronicle sheets.
I don't want to give up any spoilers, so I won't go into specifics, but I had an absolute blast playing Frostfur Captives and Sewer Dragons! I'm looking forward to inflicting both scenarios on my players here in Fresno.
Now that I've had some rest, I'm psyched about PFS play at Neoncon!
