I have a player in my campaign who is a goblin rogue, and the book admits this is a very common class for goblins. So I'm looking through Goblins of Golarion, and thinking he'll get a nice treat as a favored class bonus...
They don't. In addition to an extra skill rank or and extra hit point, goblin rogues can get... an extra skill rank, limited to Ride or Stealth. Why would anyone ever take this, when one of the generic favored class options is an unlimited version of the exact same thing? Taking it would be the equivalent of taking the generic skill rank and spending it on one of those two skills.
Which effectively means there isn't actually a rogue favored class option. Further, there is no favored class option for the other common goblin class - fighters.
So why is it that the two most common classes for goblins to take have no bonuses other than the generic for goblins to take, while some of the rarest (alchemist for example) DO have extra favored class options?

Who says it's a misprint? Perhaps Goblin rogues just don't learn anything else?
And for that matter, why do Goblins need to have special racial favoured class options? It's not like they're exactly well known for their tactical acumen, or their great centres of learning...
Having said that, the Advanced Race Guide (available as part of the PRD) does provide an additional Rogue favoured class bonus.
