Now she's back in Jade Regent, after having some... well, let's call it "beautification" - and she's ready to kick even more butt.

Let's all give a heartily "Hoooray!" to the everybody's favourite recurring NPC, Shalelu Andosana!

Hear! Hear! Although I'm with James about appearances and am looking forward to the "corrective makeover" she's getting on the cover of Jade Regent #2.

I've got one player in my group that I'm going to have to modify the relationship rules for so that he can have a love/hate, friendly competitive relationship with her (such as a positive insult). One's already started and it doesn't fit either track. They're currently squabbling over

as the PC killed him and would like the bow but she'd like it as a trophy of his death, and to tweak the PC's nose since she wanted to be the one to deliver the killing blow but was foiled by the PC. So I've come up with an archery competition that they're about to have. It's turned into a grand event and almost the whole town's going to turn out for it; to the embarrassment of both ... Ameiko's sort of to blame for that. Even though Shalelu's go 4 levels on the PC, my test runs still give him a decent chance of winning.

I've got the feeling that this is going to evolve into two talented elven rangers that'll become friends but will still be out to prove that they're better than the other.

[Halfway into Burnt Offering the players decided that they didn't want to do RotR. So after looking about for something, we decided to shelve the main characters and run alts until Jade Regent came out. That worked out great. There's no need for them to come up with a background where they're attached to the NPCs, they already are to two.]

Nonononono. I don't give anyone my credit card information. I'll just end up with more of that weird cream I am supposed to rub on my special case to make it bigger. Getting comfortable pants is difficult enough as it is.
