Pure speculation but maybe the subscriber will get PDF's for their past products...probably not but one can wish.
I had to resubscribing, actually did't miss a map or card...possibly resubscribing to the Player Companion as well...we will see.
At any rate the Gamemastery subscriptions I can use with other RPG's like I.C.E. products so its a bonus to me.
Then PDF's of other lines cause shipping kills to Alaska.

Hm. So you're saying that by the time you make an announcement, it will be too late?
If you're already a subscriber, does that count?
Probably new perks applicable to all maps subscribers old and new, if there are indeed new perks at all. I doubt they would give existing subscribers the shaft just to attract new subscribers.

I am taking a wild guess here... judging from the just announced new products in the maps and flip-mats line I reckon Paizo is...
... which if true, would indeed be reason enough to convince me to subscribe to GameMastery Maps soon, new perks or not.

I *JUST* cancelled for financial reasons! How did you hear about that?!? Is this a targeted attack? WHY DO YOU LOVE MY WALLET SO MUCH?!?
ugh... but I trust you... now I need to re-evaluate where I can cut...
Ugh, I feel ya dude. I cancelled mine awhile ago because it was just too expensive (even with the discount, shipping made it cost more than just going to the store and buying it, plus I like supporting my FLGS) (and I felt rather burned by the Swallowed Whole pack, which I will never ever use, but that's the exception to most of the maps). If it's gonna be made worth the extra cost...... eyes those shiny new .pdfs Oh, the temptation. Oh the hurty wallet. Oh the temptation... damn you Paizo...

This is a really good time to sign up for a GameMastery Maps subscription.
That's all I'm going to say for now; we'll explain further in the coming weeks.
Still waiting... hmmm maybe I should Unsubscribe, then Resubscribe... ;)

Woot!!.. Just got the email... Awesome!! been asking for this since day one, actually cancelled at one time do to the lack of PDF, but resubscribed for PFS, I am glad I did.
Though confused about the "Grandfather clause" and the 15% off past GameMastery Map products..
So I will always have 20% off new GameMastery Map products as long as I have the subscription?
And the 15% of older products goes away after the end of September, I am assuming that since I am a AP subscriber I really don't have to worry about that since I get 15% off from that.
Edit: When are the PDFs going up?

Yes; if you subscribed prior to this change, so long as you maintain your Maps sub, you will continue to get the 20% discount in addition to the free PDF. But if you ever drop the Maps sub, even for a minute, that would end the grandfather clause; if you were to resubscribe, you'd only get the current benefit of the free PDF.

Yes—since the Pathfinder Advantage provides an equivalent discount, Maps subscribers who also have AP subscriptions don't really see an effective change there.
Edit: When are the PDFs going up?
Over the next couple of months.

As someone with practically no interest in the PDFs I really appreciate the offer of the grandfather clause. It's not a terribly significant amount, given I'm an AP subscriber also, but nonetheless I appreciate the consideration and the obvious thought behind it.
This is where I am, as well. I am not an AP subscriber, but having the flip maps/map packs in PDF format is not really all that important to me. I would just rather use the better quality maps (physical product) put out by Paizo, than print my own. Much cheaper, as well.
That said, we do use Dwarven Forge and town building (Miniature Building Authority) products, so I am not sure if I will keep my subscription or not.
