Animal Shamans and Wild Empathy

Rules Questions

Wild Shamans get to use their Wild Empathy on their totem as a full round action and with a +4 on the check. Can they still use Wild Empathy on other animals as per the regular rules? IOW, does the Wild Empathy entry for the Animal Shamans add to the base Wild Empathy, or does it replace it totally?

It adds to Wild Empathy, but does not replace it. This is from the Bear Shaman:

It doesn't say it replaces Wild Empathy, so it doesn't. It just adds another use to it.

(Full disclosure: I'm lazy and only checked Bear Shaman for this. I don't think the other totems would behave differently, though. If they do, their wild empathy entry will end with "This ability replaces the druid's standard Wild Empathy ability.")
