Upsizing Armor

Rules Questions

As far as the rules can a suit of armor but upgraded in size?

I ask as a druid in a game I am running will soon hit 7th level and her T-rex will be large she wants to know if its +1 barding can be reforged or if she has to start all over.

You'll have to make a new suit of dino-plate.

Only other option i know besides starting from scratch would be polymorph any object.. probably cheaper to start over.

You could theoretically keep your T rex the same size.

As you gain levels, your animal companion improves as well, usually at 4th or 7th level, in addition to the standard bonuses noted on Table: Animal Companion Base Statistics. Instead of taking the listed benefit at 4th or 7th level, you can instead choose to increase the companion's Dexterity and Constitution by 2.

Cool was wondering on that though since its padded armor i may very well let her do it since it seems pretty easy to upsize a piece of cloth.

You may want to point your druid towards the cheese.. erm... benefit, of MW studded leather armor. Without proficiency you take the Armor check penalty on a host of skills and checks. Studded leather armor has an ACP of -1. Masterwork makes that 1 less.. so.. nothing. All magical armor is masterwork anyway.

It wears padded cuz it got its dex super buffed the main reason they druid got it armor was to provide it with some of the enchants like fort to keep it from being rogue fodder, after they pissed of a thieves guild.
