Sorry if this is a noobish question but I wanted to get some clarification on plant shape 3. Exactly what would I gain from lets say turning into a vipervine or treant. How does it affect my AC? Do I get all of its special attacks and special abilities? How would it affect my saves? Thanks for any feedback.

Follow the description of the spell and the lower-level spells that it references. When changing into a Huge plant, you apply +8 STR, -2 DEX, +4 CON and +6 natural armor. You take a -2 size penalty to your AC and attacks. You gain low-light vision, DR 10/slashing, vulnerability to fire and a trample attack (damage 2d6 + 1.5 times your revised STR bonus, Reflex save for half, DC 10 + half your level + your revised STR bonus).
As a polymorph effect, you gain the treant's base speed (30') and natural attacks (2 slams, 2d6 + revised STR bonus). Your gear melds into the treant body and you lose any armor and shield bonuses.
Your AC changes by -1 for lower DEX, -2 for Huge size, +6 natural armor (doesn't stack with any existing natural armor you have), and loses your armor and shield bonuses.
Your Reflex save is 1 lower and Fortitude save is 2 higher due to changes in ability scores.

...and you lose any armor and shield bonuses.
Just wanted to clarify that you lose all armor and shield bonuses FROM MUNDANE AND MAGIC ITEMS.
Ongoing spells such as barkskin or mage armor continue to function while you are polymorphed.

Yes, that's right. Barkskin is an enhancement bonus to natural armor, so it enhances the treant form's natural armor. Mage armor and other effects that create armour-like protections, such as some oracle revelations, work normally for the treant form unless they have some restriction on size.
