Some years ago, I used to write RPG material professionally (primarily for Exalted 1st Edition, plus some work on the d20 version of Gamma World). I have been meaning, now that the kids are a little older, to get back to it. Unfortunately i am having a case of writers block at the moment. When I was freelancing, I found that having an assignment and a deadline made me a better writer, so let's give that a shot.
Here's the rules:
1) Whatever "assignment" I accept, I get it done in a week (7 days).
2) The "assignment" will be about 2000 words, more or less.
3) It has to be Pathfinder and Golarion.
4) It has to be weighted toward "fluff" (I don't mind creating rules, I just am better at worldbuilding, character development, whatever).
Other than that, I'll write anything. Need a villainous organization for your campaign? A magical event or location? An expanded or updated monster or race?
Assume I have access to Core + Bestiary + Inner Sea.

An underground black market organization that smuggles Sun Orchid Elixir out of Thuvia, and into Razmiran in exchange for copious amounts of the drug, Tears of Razmir. I like to think Hags are in charge of pulling the strings, but then again, I like to involve Hags any time I can. Lol.
A sentient Cutlass Spider that has incorporated an intelligent weapon into itself. To make life really interesting, I like to add the Fiend-Infused Golem template [even though it probably doesn't work that way]... now the ego of the intelligent weapon can battle for control against the soul of a demon. Maybe use an intelligent artifact weapon? I don't know, that's why it would be cool to see someone else's ideas on the subject.
A sentient, Evil spellbook that is both a Lich, and its phylactery. A level 11 Poleiheira Adherent Pact Wizard with their Bonded Book and the Lich Curse could probably pull it off, if you want in-game mechanics to back it up. I just like the idea of an intelligent tome that is both the spellbook and the Wizard, and also a Lich and its phylactery. There's a lot going on there. Can you do anything with this idea?
Ooh, speaking of all things Lich... an Android Lich god that has incorporated its own phylactery into itself, as well as the phylacteries of other Liches. For mine, I used Crossblooded Sorcerer for the Impossible and Nanite Bloodlines, as the Impossible Bloodline capstone turns you into a clockwork creation of infinite impossibilities. Each additional phylactery incorporated into itself adds to its power, and phylacteries are absorbed from both willing and unwilling Liches, alike. But, really, I would love to see your take on the concept.

If you were to make a single creature that is an amalagation of the Harpy and the Siren, what would it end up being?
Monsterous Humanoids have better saves, skills, and proficiencies in juxtapose to Magical Beasts. Would you give it the Harpy's 7HD, or the Siren's 8HD? Would you assign completely new stats, or just use the best of each from the Harpy and Siren?
I think the Harpy's Captivating Song could be seemlessly incorporated into the Siren's Captivation performance they have available via Siren's Song... given that the two Captivation effects are almost, if not, identical... should make combining the two all that much easier.

I can't take credit for this, but if you want something to write about... write about this:
A variant of the Coffin Mimic called the Bed Mimic is sent to assassinate a Succubus, but the Succubus ends up seducing the Mimic. The Succubus then drains nearly all the life out of the Mimic during a long, heart-felt "conversation"... in the process learning who hired the Bed Mimic to assaasinate her [the Succubus], how dreadfully little the Bed Mimic was getting paid for the job, and accidentally converted the Bed Mimic to lawfull good. So the Bed Mimic is now calling itself "Lady Cultist-Bed the Mimic-Paladin", and has teamed up with a steampunk engineer to solve its locomotion issue.
