Finding Megadungeons

Liberty's Edge

I've been reading some threads about megadungeons and would like to expand my collection. I've got a subscription to Slumbering Tsar and I have copies of World's Largest Dungeon and Undermountain. What other great megadungeons are out there? Please recommend for any game system and, if it's not too much trouble, let me know where I can find a PDF copy.

Thanks

Maybe Castle Greyhawk is just too obvious to be listed... buts is as good as it get. The first version better than the latest.

The Return to (Castle Greyhawk, Undermountai)... 3.5 series were "aceptable" additions... despite the hideous last combat format used by WoTC by the end of 3.5

I'd also strongly recommend Dungeon's Maure Castle for 3.5. The original (first) D&D version is good for reference too.

You could count Axe of the Dwarvish Lords almost as a megadungeon too... that's a huge fortress and lots of maps there.

Grand Lodge

2nd edition D&D had the "Dragon Mountain" Boxed set...

And the original 2e version of "Undermountain" had two separate boxed sets, 3 modules, and a sourcebook...

They included:

Ruins of Undermountain (Boxed Set)
Ruins of Undermountain II: The Deep Levels (Boxed Set)
Undermountain: The Lost Level (Adventure Module)
Undermountain: Maddgoth's Castle (Adventure Module)
Undermoiuntain: Stardock (Adventure Module)

and

Skullport (which was a softcover accesory)

You can find most of them available on Amazon, but some of them are really expensive because they're so collectible. The cheapest you'll find Night Below is $260, for example.

You could also try Noble Knight Games, Board Game Geek and Ebay.

What you really want is Dungeon A Day.

Also, check out the free Map-A-Week Mega-Dungeon from WotC to get a free map, as well as all their other great M-a-W offerings.

I can't believe it took that many posts before dungeon a day was mentioned. Its a pretty amazing dungeon that is just nearing its end game. I've only managed to run the earlier floors, but I have run them for a few groups now and have really enjoyed all that is there. At this point it is a bit overwhelming to jump into because there is so much there, but most definitely worth it.
