Suppose I have two ebon wayfinders (Seekers of Secrets) on my person, one of which is slotted with two ioun stones (thereby suppressing its darkvision and darkness abilities), while the other is empty. Does the empty wayfinder still give me darkvision and darkness as normal?
IIRC earlier in the description on using wayfinders, it indicates that you can only have one wayfinder at a time. If you have multiple wayfinders they interfere with each other and neither one works.

That's my problem - the text in question says "The auras of multiple augmenting wayfinders tend to interfere with each other; a person with one who tries to hold or carry a second usually finds that both sputter out" and that "the mechanism of using a wayfinder to boost the power of an ioun stone is usually called augmenting" (emphasis mine) - that is, it appears to reference only wayfinders that are powering ioun stones.
Incidentally, this also implies that you can carry multiple wayfinders with ioun stones slotted so long as only one is actually resonating -- there's a 75% chance of resonation for a normal stone, a 25% chance of resonation for a cracked or flawed stone, and a 10% chance of resonation for a scorched stone -- and this seemed contrary to RAI in my eyes.

Wish I could get some confirmation from a member of the team - the wording is a little vague. :(
They really didn't consider someone ever getting their hands on TWO of the things. It's kind of like the Pathfinder Society verison of having TWO Holy Avengers, no one would ever consider that happening.

Unless you're absurdly rich like the high-level character I'm considering it for! :D

Yes. The only rule for multiple wayfinders is that you can't have multiple wayfinders that are providing resonance, so a slotted wayfinder and an empty wayfinder get along just fine.
If you're just looking for darkvision and 2 resonance slots, you can just get 1 Ebon Wayfinder and some Goggles of Night for 6k cheaper than 2 Ebon Wayfinders. All you lose is the eyes slot and darkness 1/day.

Yup! I'm using the rules for adding new abilities, though, and in my case the goggles of night are being combined with sniper goggles from the APG (20,000gp) - so the goggles of night cost 50% more, making them cost 18,000gp. This way is more cost-effective (though by very little). Thanks!
