Player trying to add things to my campaign

Advice

I have a PC who claims there was a AD&D 1E spell called Black Daggers he wants to try to use the Ultimate Magic book to try to recreate this spell to add to his character in my pathfinder campaign my problem is I have not found the original spell anywhere in my searching of AD&D 1e books also the same PC wants to make a Battle Dancer where would i find a pathfinder version of this class?

I have a vague memory of the Black Daggers spell (2nd ed maybe?)but don't remember any detail at all. I would suggest just treating it like any player created spell. Have him tell you what he wants the spell to do, then work together to come up with a spell level and effects. If you can reach agreement then he can use it, if not he's out of luck.

No clue on the Battle Dancer though.

Well, you can always just say "No". Or, you can look over their suggestions and modify to suit your campaign. Iirc, the Battle Dancer was out of Dragon Magazine... maybe Dungeon. I don't believe I've seen a "Pathfinderized" version (although someone may pop up with one). I'd suggest haunting the "conversion" subforum and try a general search for Battle Dancer as well. Good luck!

*edit* I popped Battle Dancer into the search box (left side of page) under Everything and came up with 4 hits, referencing a class from the Dragon Compendium in several threads. I'd post links, but it would be easier for you to run the same search and go to the resultant threads. Again, good luck (and remember the power of "no").

First of all, as the GM you are in your good right to deny him his request, if they don't fit with your game. However, it is always to best solution to be accomodating if it isn't too much trouble.

I don't have much AD&D experience so I can't give specific advice on the spell or prestige class.
But my suggestion to you is to have him find the spell (in whatever book it exists in) for you. He is the one who wants it, then you shouldn't have the trouble of looking through every existing AD&D book.
Alternatively, just have him make a draft of the spell he wants, and run it by these boards. I am pretty convinced that there is sure to be a bunch of people who is ready to clean up any unbalanced parts of it.

There is a Fan updated version of the Battle Dancer somewhere on the forums if you look around.
