Would an undead lose hit points when it takes charisma damage? RAW, charisma damage only causes the following penalties:

Charisma: Damage to your Charisma score causes you to take penalties on Charisma-based skill checks. This penalty also applies to any spell DCs based off Charisma and the DC to resist your channeled energy.
However, with the way charisma replaces constitution for undead
Quote:
No Constitution score. Undead use their Charisma score in place of their Constitution score when calculating hit points, Fortitude saves, and any special ability that relies on Constitution (such as when calculating a breath weapon's DC).
it could be argued that damage to charisma should have the same penalties as damage to constitution:
Quote:
Constitution: Damage to your Constitution score causes you to take penalties on your Fortitude saving throws. In addition, multiply your total Hit Dice by this penalty and subtract that amount from your current and total hit points. Lost hit points are restored when the damage to your Constitution is healed.

Yet again another change i missed in that case yes they would lose hp.
It already was that way in 3.5. I didn't know it either before I checked it today, though.
On a different note, they are not immune to any kind of ability penalty, although effects like ray of enfeeblement that allow a fortitude save would not work on them.
