if you have a +11/+7 would your full BAB be +18?
i was trying to figure out how much i would add to my flurry blows for my monk
To make this one easier on us Forum-ites. Can you give us the level(s) for your monk?
I ask this since a BAB of +11/+7 would not exist. You could have a +11/+6/+1 (equal to a monk of 15th level), and that 15th level monk would have a base flurry of +13/+13/+8/+8/+3/+3.
While a Monk(2)/Fighter(10) would also have a BAB of +11/+6/+1 and he would have a flurry of +9/+9/+4/-1
So, if you can give us the class and levels, we can help with the maths. :)

In the first place, you're never going to have +11/+7. You'd have +11/+6/+1, or +12/+7/+2.
In such a listing, the first number is your actual BAB; the lower numbers after it are a shorthand for your iterative attacks--which take cumulative -5 penalties.
But since a Monk uses a full BAB progression for the purpose of flurries and maneuvers, but takes a -2 penalty to each attack in a flurry, a 15th level monk, with a +11(/+6/+1) BAB, who makes three additional attacks in a flurry, as if using Greater Two Weapon Fighting, has an iterative attack of +13/+13/+8/+8/+3/+3 before adding in other bonuses.
Shorter answer: all this is directly on the Monk table.

The flurry-of-blows attack bonus listed in the Monk table already includes your base attack bonus (or BAB). So, for a 12th-level Monk, the bonus added when flurring is +10/+10/+5/+5/+0.
You add your Strength modifier (and/or anything else that modifies your attack bonus) to those five numbers, plus the 1d20 roll.

Now that we've cleared that up, I'll just say that this: +18/+18/+13/+13/+8/+8/+3 ...is insane! ;)
