I'm located on the edge of Sun city/Peoria until December. I know there are games in E. Mesa, but that's about an hour away and the transit time plus game time adds up to a bit too much, so I was wondering if there was anything closer. Any info is appreciated!
Any decisions on where your move will be to? I hope you find a game nearby to tide you over.

Hey, you! Yes, I'm about 90% certain that we're moving to the Seattle area. I haven't dropped that on my Austin friends yet, but my girlfriend (who's coming along) was surprisingly okay with the rather large change in direction!
edit: probably closer to 95%, but still unsure how difficult it may be to rent a house that will let my dog come along. No dog, no deal. She's a pit mix of some sort (rescued puppy, dumped with the rest of a litter in the desert here), or at least that's the only thing you can definitely see just from looking. She's well-trained and not very big, though, so... I dunno. Houses are better than apts that way. Less about what an insurance company dictates to them and maybe more about meeting the dog. Fingers crossed!

There was a group meeting at Imperial Outpost Games, but I'm not sure how active they are at the moment. Is that location convenient for you?
Turns out it's very convenient, actually. I gues it's my new FLGS that I simply haven't visited yet. I called them today to ask about PFS, open gaming (also Eclipse Phase, but that's neither here nor there), or what have you. The guy told me that there is some sort of meeting on the last Saturday of the month, but didn't seem to be sure if it was PFS or what, just that it was Pathfinder. I'm planning on going in later today and taking a look at their bulletin board, and maybe I'll find something on that. Thanks for the nudge in that direction!

Checking on Warhorn, I see that The Shield of Almor club plans to play some Living Forgotten Realms there today. They start at 11 AM.
Although 4e isn't my favorite system, many of the gamers in that group are wonderful people and excellent company. Several of them also participate in Pathfinder Society games, so you may want to stop by and meet some folks.

FYI the warhorn reference is a gathering of player meets on the fourth Saturday, sometimes Sunday at IOG, we will try to have two tables, but space on that one is tight. Look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks for the information! I thought it was under A Gathering of Players (AGoP), but wasn't certain and didn't want to send J. Christopher on a snipe hunt.

I'll need to ask Darren to train his staff to look to the bulletin board. :) The PFS schedule and link is written there plain as a daylight spell. As mentioned above, the schedule is up. I just put it up this afternoon. Good timing it seems.
