I'll start. I'm Deinol. For my 7th birthday I asked for AD&D. My mom bought me the old Middle-Earth Roleplaying Game (MERP!) instead. She'd read the Hobbit, so felt more comfortable with something familiar.
I picked up the AD&D books shortly thereafter. I've been gaming ever since. I didn't discover Pathfinder until I heard about the Pathfinder Beta. I downloaded it, subscribed to Second Darkness, and have been hooked ever since.
