Silver Crusade

The details here. They have the land, now they need to build the statue. Please consider donating -- think how awesome this statue could be. I'm thinking solid mithril!

Added to the motion was that Gygax should bring a detailed map to bring to the Council as well as a detailed statue design to come back to the Park Board for approval. Motion passed unanimously.

A detailed map, eh? Will graph paper do?

Sovereign Court

I'm really glad to see that this keeps moving forward.

Sphere of Annihilation in the statue's mouth

Just went to the site and gave a donation.

For all the times we've sat in a tavern that existed only in our minds, dividing up treasure, appraising gems, rolling for the +1 dagger, it feels right to set aside a share for the party member who's no longer with us.

Pull up a chair, friend, order an ale, and I'll tell you how this adventure began...

The plaque should feature a d% table with 100 different quotations from Gary.

What would be truly neat if below the monument there was a permanently mounted table and benches with a bronze GM's screen at one end and maybe a permanent dice tower. Something like they do with chess tables permanently set up, but for roleplaying games instead.

Then again, considering the location and weather, a gaming room at the local library would be more practical.

It would be cool if they incorporated the Devourer face onto the statue, and the interior of the mouth contained a black marble orb.

The statue should have precious gemstones for eyes.

I was scrolling down to write that very thing! We could all make a pilgrimage to take pictures of each other pretending to pry them out with a dagger:)

I do think he should be wearing a hawaiian shirt and a pair of shorts, though, seriously.

That is a great idea, regardless of weather.

The statue should just be a star in a circle in the center of a square room 30 feet on a side with the floor of the room in tiles five feet on a side.

'The Orc and the Pie' needs to be incorportated into this somehow.

The Exchange

The Dragon should be Dragotha.

They should add a crypt full of traps under the statue. With a riddle on the statue you have to solve to enter the crypt. :)

Sovereign Court

That would be awesome...

And in other news, this month saw à school class of thirty children dismembered and vaporized as they entered the Tomb of Terrors located beneath à new statue in the park. As yet, none of the victims have yet made replacement PCs.
