Good use for Druid for the Kingdom

Kingmaker

My adventure group is near the end of the first book. Looking ahead a little, especially as I ponder my skill selections, I'm wondering what position(s) my Druid will be for when we get to the Kingdom building and running phase of the game.

Directing me to past threads that deal with this topic would be cool- my searches came out blank there. However, I have a particular interest in my Druid's future role.

By RAW from the AP, your skills have nothing to do with it, only your stats. Does this make sense? Not really. But they tried to keep the rules simple.

Councilor, High Priest, Marshal and Treasurer all can use wisdom.

Thanks, Val__. I see that my post could have been clearer. The GM made vague references to unique positions and wouldn't enlighten us further. I thought that perhaps the "Leadership Roles" were more fleshed out. Thanks, because your response makes things a lot clearer.

If worse comes to worse I could run the local animal shelter!

While all what Valandil says is true, that only applies to the actual Kingdom Building subgame. In the rest of the game, of course, the role the PC takes on could have substantial impact on the skills he/she will need. For example, the General will be leading the army, the Spymaster will be developing a a network of informants, the Warden will be patrolling the ara, etc. All of these activities could benefit from appropriate skills, assuming your GM takes advantage of the considerable latitude given in the AP to incorporate roleplay and other activities in addition to the main plot movers. So I would think about your kingdom role as well as your adventuring needs in selecting skills
