Using Eldritch Heritage, could anyone technically get the ability to make they're own custom weapon using the Arcane Bloodline's ability? (Arcane Bond, using weapon as your choice.) It says the character doesn't need the relevant crafting feat to enchant the item, so could a fighter take Eldritch heritage and have a sword he could upgrade whenever he wished?

You'd need the caster level (as does a wizard/arcane sorcerer with the bonded item) in order to 'craft' it.
You're better off with the feat 'master craftsman' that would let you do so.

I saw this thread and have the same question. Eldritch Heritage says "For purposes of using that power, treat your sorcerer level as equal to your character level – 2.". So if you're say 11th Character Level you'd be considered a 9th level Sorcerer, and a 9th level Sorcerer has a Caster Level of 9. Now I agree getting the Master Craftsman Feat is better since you'd be able to use your Character Level (provided you have the ranks), which in this case would be 11.

sorceror level =/= caster level.
you can multiclass out of sorc right away and still use your caster level from PrCs, feats, etc, for the bonded item crafting.
having the ability doesn't give you a caster level in any way.
(neither does learning sorceror spells known mean you can cast them, for the higher level arcane BL ability)
that said, not meeting the caster level is just more requirement that you can just take a -5 for not meeting.
many enchantments don't have a CL requirement anyways.
