I would like to see what new weapons are released. I would love a d8, 18-20 crit, 1 handed weapon. Something that does for the scimitar what the bastard sword does for the long sword. Might be worth the ewp. Maybe make that the stats for katana instead of it being a bastard sword with a different look.

why not grab the falcata. Its better than that already in my opinion (the 19-20 with a X3 stings more to me)

Well, the rhoka comes pretty close. Although I would not call it a katana.

Jadeite, never heard of a rhoka. Does that weapon already exist (if so, where?), or are you proposing that as the name of the weapon?
It's in the Adventurer's Armory. And also in the Bestiary 2, sort of. It's the favored weapon of the Urdefhan. And a weapon that only increases your average damage by one is usually not worth a feat.

No, because Cockatrice Strike requires its own Full-Round Action, which is not a full attack action. And so, they cannot be used together.
Ah, good call I missed that in my reading of the feat; pretty important distinction! Kind of a shame though, it seemed like it would build together pretty well. Just feels like the Monk can't catch a break! *chuckles*

The most awesome part of that is that if you score a critical against something and kill it you can say you impale it in the chest and and rip off its heart with your bare hands.
