so the Exploit Lore feat states
"one per day when you sucessfully identify all abilites and weaknesses of a creature" gain a bonus to hit and damage.
BAB +11 as a prereq
My question: So for an inqusitor this requires level 15 to get this ability
A CR 12 adult Green Dragon has around 12-13 abilites and a subtype vulnerability.
So even if the base knowledge check is a 10 you need a 70-80 on a knowledge roll to get the bonus to hit and damage and you can only use it once per day, and only against one monster if facing multiples of the same type?
It would seem that knowing about all special defences (DR, SR, reistances/immunities) and vulnerabilites might make this a more usable feat
I mean its a no brainer against a human (DC=a joke) to get + whatever. but I am not sure how it is supposed to function against beastiary critters.

just depends on the creature. dragons are supposed to be the most powerful (or one of the most powerful) creatures in the game, and are supposed to have some sort of mystery about them. other monsters, like golems and such, will be easier, and are also monsters you will benefits from having the bonus to hit and damage. itll still have its uses, just depends on the monster. its usable on every monster and humanoid, but the more powerful, the harder it is to gain the benefit.

A +2/+2 at 11-15th level ability versus spell perfection at 15th level? and do keep in mind that was for a monster 3CR's lower a dragon at or above the CR would be even higher as would most of the outsiders undead etc you might see at that level.

i never said the feat was good. its kinda like getting a +1 morale bonus when your 15th level. its damn near worthless. youd be better off doing a more powerful ability or casting a more powerful spell. i was just saying that you cant just weigh the feats worth against a dragon. i dont like the feat regardless of who its used against, but thats just me. there will be others that disagree with me on this.
