No. There is nothing saying you can combine hexes with spellstrike. Furthermore, they are both Standard Actions, are they not?

Prehensile hair is a standard to activate then can be operational for a period of time.

During this time, it acts kinda like a tentacle limb

i think he is referring to using the prehensile hair as an attack with spell strike. but no, i don't think so, prehensile hair can be used "as a secondary natural attack" where as spell strike "can deliver the spell through any weapon he is wielding as part of a melee attack" which would mean that you can't use natural weapon for spell strike.

the only reasons i could think of using prehensile hair with spellstrike is a) for fluff, cause that'd be pretty funny to give some one shocking grasp though your beard. or b) reach, and as far as reach goes, use a whip or even better a scorpion whip(can actually damage stuff). using either whips will allow you to have better reach and then you can also take the arcana to use said whip to trip people, you will the crowd control magus

Thanks for the clarification Skerek! I had hoped it would qualify as a weapon for the purpose of spellstrike for just that reason actually but oh well. I think I will look into the scorpion whip though...

I think you can more or less make this work if you have the Feral Combat Training and Hex Strike feats. Hex Strike allows you to deliver a hex effect with your unarmed strike, and feral combat allows you to treat a natural weapon as an unarmed strike for the purposes of unarmed strike feats.

Prehensile hair is treated as a natural attack once activates. There's already a faq coveeing na and spellstrike or spell combat I believe. Feral combat training isn't terribly useful for anyone but a monk.

Isn't there a Natural Spell Combat arcana now?

Lantern Lodge

It doesn't work, the weapon you use with spell combat *has* to be associated with a hand, as per the FAQ. So if you had a talon or claw, you could use those, by the hair can't be used with spell combat.

Incorrect, the prehinsile hair hex functions as a hand and as a natural weapon so is a valid choice for Spellcombat/Spellstrike.

There is already a dev post stating this. You may want to look at the Hexcrafter guide thread for questions like this, it's already been covered there.

edit: Yes there is a natural spell arcana but that is only for natural weapons that aren't hand associated, the hair hex, claws and pincers are associated with hands.
