Beast Bonded Witch - Transfer Feats


Advice


The Beast Bonded Witch archetype in UM caught my eye, particularly the transfer feats ability they get. But for the life of my I can't figure out what feats I would rather give my familiar than take for myself.

Any suggestions please?

If you have decent hit point and/or dexterity scores, giving them Dodge or Toughness might be helpful.

There's also some very good advice on feats and witch familiars in the Open Design PDF "The Witch's Brew", which is on the site.

I think Spring Attack might let a familiar deliver touch spells with out provoking an AoO. (depends on how the GM interprets "melee attack")

If Spring Attack is a no go there is Underfoot.

Ability Focus would be nice for certain improved familiars.

I don't think Toughness would do anything as the familar has set hp.

If both you and your familiar had the same teamwork feat you'd almost always be adjacent to someone with the feat.

Bodyguard could be interesting in a familiar.


How about fly by attack. This would rule if you had raven, hawk, etc. Send it out to heal someone and it comes back. I really like the teamwork feats and bodyguard ideas.
