Seems like a recent trend to make new threads proclaiming one's emotional stance on PrC's, here's mine!

Grand Lodge

I'll just cosign with yours.

Liberty's Edge

I wonder if someone else will start a similar thread like mine to counter your thread lol.

You know me! :)

MEh, I'm happy with the way that Pathfinder has begun to handle prestige classes.

Like i said in the other threads, I dont have a lot of love for PrCs. And the fact that there arent already like a 150 of them is something I approve of. That said, I hope paizo continues to release a handful with every RPG book for those that do want them as is appropriate to the book in question.

Also, before somebody starts hatin' - I'm not after getting rid of PrCs entirely. They're great for organisations and kinky multiclass synergies. But the 3.5 flood of "let's make a PrC for everything" has to go.

I am pretty sure it has already gone.

Scarab Sages

I'd like to see some feats or archetypes that broaden prestige class synergy a bit.

Just off the top of my head, I'd love to see a Monk/Arcane Spellcaster/Eldritch Knight. I think it'd work well, maybe with a Monk Archetype that substitutes Charisma or Intelligence for Wisdom, or a multiclass feat that increases unarmed strike damage with caster level.

Or how about a Cavalier/Rogue? Yeah, they fit alright Multiclassing, but I feel like it'd be cool to have something that blends their abilities a bit better (Maybe with a capstone that grants your Sneak Attack damage against the target of your Challenge?).

*Edit: I guess a Monk/Magus prestige class or Multiclass feat would be better than the Eldritch Knight for what I'm thinking of. W/E

Enlightened Fist was awesome. Right up there with Master Of the Unseen Hand and Abjurant Champion. Three classes that almost everyone but me seems to hate lol

Overall though,I agree that PrCs are good but that there was a glut of them in 3.5. Certain concepts just don't need one and work better if just effected through feat/skill/style/weapon choices. (Or Archetypes, from what I hear. Haven't got a chance to try or look at them.) An example is the master thrower from CW. A whole class, just to throw daggers and stuff? Pointless.
