What are the long-lasting buffs?

Advice

By which I mean buffs that last either 1 hour/level (like Mage Armor) or 10 minutes/level (like Heroism).

(A caster of 12th level or higher can keep Mage Armor going forever by using two 1st level slots, or one 2nd level slot with Extend Spell. The same caster can keep Heroism going for two hours, which is comfortably longer than most dungeon crawls. I'm just wondering if anyone has made a list of what else is out there.)

I can't give you a comprehensive list, but I can tell you a good amount of sorc/wizard buffs of this category.

Hour/level: Mage Armor, Darkvision, Protection from Arrows, Greater Magic Weapon, Overland Flight, False Life, Greater False Life, Greater Darkvision, Water Breathing

10 mins/level: Heroism, Flame Arrow, See Invisibility, Magic circle vs. Evil, Resist Energy, Protection from Energy, Stoneskin, Keen Edge

Crafter's Fortune also lasts day/level.

There might be some I've missed at higher levels, and there are some other ones that I just don't like that I've probably forgotten. Ultimate Magic has some weird ones, too...but the spell lists aren't linked so it's a pain to go through and check every spell.

Resist Energy, Darkvision, and Overland Flight are the biggies to me, other than Heroism of course. Also, it never hurts to have Endure Elements up.

Get thy self some metamagic rods of extend, lesser for that Heroism, and maybe a pear of power level 3. Level 12, 240 minutes per casting, two castings a day=8 hours. Double woot. All for 12k (6 with the right item crafting feats) and one spell slot.

Thing is about Resist Energy is that it's usually better on scrolls. But then you don't get the best effect. Unless you're selfish, the same energy stuff that is going to hurt you is going to hurt your teammates, and I always feel like a jerk wading through lava with Fire Resist 30 while my friends catch fire.

And I totally forgot False Life. Honestly makes a decent wand if you know you'll be getting hit. It's like proactive CLW.

That's when I remind them that they should have played some kind of caster!

Jesting aside, the long term buffs are fun. Especially See Invisibility. If you're pretty good at always having that up when it matters, you'll get a few looks of pure frustration out of your GM. I've played for a few GMs before who don't really keep track of player buffs and always forgot that my character had that...leading to them describing an empty room and smugly asking "Oh, can anyone see invisible stuff?" And me being like "Yeah, I do." This is usually followed by cursing.

Greater magic weapon and magic vestment for those who like helping out their friends :)
