Honestly, I don't mind people trying to sound smart if they use real words.
It's the ones who make up words and then insist they are real that drive me nuts.
This PbP character did that constantly. It was a fun challenge for me to play :)

Well, not really. Just a little bit of irritation, honestly.
Little pedantic things like that just bug me a bit.
The irony is beautiful, mirth inducing, and likely akin to the reaction my cats have when I deliberately pet their fur in the wrong direction.
We all have our quibbles - non-punctuated abbreviations that leave resulting words resembling 'chat-speak' is one of many for me.
This is particularly egregious (DRINK!) when done by a grammarian. :D
On the flip side, my love of neologism knows only a few bounds, one of which is certain former governors who do so unwittingly, rather than deliberately.
