Hi guys,
again i have a question regarding grapple.
The controller can inflict damage to the defender. He can choose free between his available attacks (light-, one-handed or natural) and dont make an extra attack roll (=automatic hit)?
Is it normale damage with all special effects? Poisons, flaming damage, weapon spec., STR, etc.
I cant use feats like power attack, vital strike etc. Correct?
The controller cant use full round actions. Correct?
What about creatures with more limbs and more attacks like an occtopus (lets say 8 tentacles with grap and a poisonous bite). Can this creature grapple 8 different creatures with his tentacles and bite a ninth ? Is it possible? If yes .. how does it works?
The defender can use full round actions. Correct?
The defender can use a normal combination between standart, full, move, free and swift actions with penalities for the grapple condition. Correct?

Yes, they deal damage using one light, one-handed or natural attack of their choice, with all bonuses and penalties to damage intact.

You CAN use power attack, but that will give you a penalty on the grapple check. Grapple checks are Combat Manuever checks, and Combat Manuever checks are attack rolls.
You cannot use Vital Strike because Vital Strike is a separate standard action.
The controller cant use full round actions. Correct?
Generally no. However, creatures with the Grab special ability (see below) can take a -20 penalty to not take the grappling penalty, and can take actions as though they aren't grappling ... including taking full round actions.
Otherwise, no. Maintaining a grapple uses your standard action.

Creatures that have the grab special ability can take a -20 penalty on the check to maintain a grapple without gaining the grappled condition.

Yes.

Thanks for your answers but i still have some more questions. Maybe i am thinking in a difficult manner or i am stupid :)

Is the power attack two or one-handed?

With the occtopus i have the biggest problems. Lets talk about an example:
Occtopus (1 bite + 8 tentacles (with grab) against a humanRound/option/sec.option
Round 1A: The occtopus attacks with 9 attacks and do damage to the target.
Round 1B: Occtopus hits with one or more tentacles, do damage to the target and gets free grapple attempts + constrict.
Round 2A: Repeat 1A
Round 2B.A: The occtopus grapples "normally", rolls a grapple check and do damage + constrict.
Question1: Correct?
Question2: What if the occtopus grapples two or more opponents? Does he roll a grapple check for every opponent or one for all or ..?
Round 2B.B: The occtopus takes -20 to his grapple check and do not gain the grapple condition.
Question: What does this mean? What are the effects for the controller and the defender in round 3? What actions can the controller do in round3? What options does the defender has and did he get any damage in round 3?
Round 3A: Repeat 1A
Round 3B.A: Repeat 2A
Round 3B.B: ... ?
Last question: Breaking a pin also means that you break the grapple and are free. Correct or do you only get the grapple condition?
Thanks alot :)
