So i know that i've been just buzzing with questions lately but with UM out how could i not?
So here is my question for the moment: Symbol of Healing, functions as per symbol of death but instead bathes all creatures within 60 feet with positive energy, healing 2D8+ 1 per caster level.
Here are my two questions about this spell: 1. As it functions as per symbol of Death, and with symbol of death you are automatically attuned to your own symbol and are immune to its effects does that mean if you make a symbol of healing you cannot be healed by it?
2. you can attune creatures to your symbol so that they do not trigger it. So is the reverse true? Can i set it to trigger its effects for ONLY my party? aka If i make symbols of Healing attuned to my party and the wizard permanency's them can i give everyone a 1/day healing potion? or will this effect everyone: allies and enemies?
Thanks for any clerification. ;)

Please note I haven't read Symbol of Healing yet, so I'm presuming there are no extra clauses in it other than it does healing not death.
1. Alas yes, you can't ber affected
2.
You can also set special triggering limitations of your own. These can be as simple or elaborate as you desire. Special conditions for triggering a symbol of death can be based on a creature's name, identity, or alignment, but otherwise must be based on observable actions or qualities. Intangibles such as level, class, HD, and hit points don't qualify.
Identity is in there, so you can define the trigger as only your party.
