Hi all,
The conversion guide's example on page 8 of a human Barbarian 4 / Rogue 3 states that skill points break down as follows:
Rogue 3
10 ranks total for Rogue per level
8 base
+1 human
+1 Int
30 points total
Barbarian 4
6 total Ranks for Barbarian per level
4 base
human +1
Int +1
24 points total
The total number of ranks is 54 yet the Conversion guide states repeatedly that it's 62. Am I misunderstanding something or is this a just a misprint?

I'd say that's an error. Don't really know where the 62 come from - that could be a Rogue 4/Barb 3 putting all his favored class (rogue) boni into skill points.
So don't worry, you understand the system well enough it seems :)
EDIT: Maybe the original example was a Rogue 5/ Barb 2 (also 7 levls) which got changed without changing the sum?
