Odd question, but what are the monsters lurking on top of the bookshelves on page 131?
They have a skeletal head and a gargoyle-ish body. I remember seeing them somewhere else before, but I can't place them.
And the beastie shackled on page 226. I thought he was a Xill, but they only have two arms....

Bone devil. They've gained wings between 3.5 and PFRPG, but can't use them.

I thought it was when I saw it. Didn't even register the lack of four arms. I think it's meant to be a xill. Maybe there was just a mistake on the anatomy. That's what comes to mind when I see that head at least.
Xills have 4 arms, check the Bestiary illo again.

Thank you... I think the bookcase lurkers are creepier than the one in the bestiary... but it also looks less skeletal-ly.

Huh, I thought the confusion was over the UM Xill not having 4 arms. Got back to my book and thought I was going nutty. Came back to thread. Currently relieved I'm not going nutty.
A more intriguing art-related question:
On page 93, what did the iconics do to get the guitarist from KISS that pissed off? :P

I actually had to double-check all of that when you posted. Here's my inner monologue:
SKR: What? I wrote the xill art order for Ultimate Magic, did I forget to make sure it has four arms? Nope, it's chained to the wall with all four arms. Does chava mean the Bestiary shows the xill with only two arms? OMG IT ONLY HAS TWO ARMS! WHY DID WE CHANGE THAT?? Oh, wait, those things at the top are its arms, phew! All is good.
