Dear talking head TV station morons in Charlotte:
1) Portal 2 has never billed itself as educational;
2) Sony asking you to pass your concerns on to the developer of the title is NOT "passing the buck";
3) You're morons;
4) Nobody has the right to be completely unoffended by every piece of media they consume;
and finally
5) I'm so glad I am from Raleigh (or at least, I will be until WRAL decides to jump on the video game bashing bandwagon - sadly, our anchors here are just as supportive of sterile and inoffensive nanny state-grade entertainment as they are there, unfortunately).

For even more hilarity, type in Animal Crossing news report. It seems that Animal Crossing is an online haven for pedophiles just waiting for the chance to lure your kid to California.
Which is the only reason an adult would play it...the cops said so!
Wow.
On the subject of Animal Crossing...well, you'll never be able to look at it the same way again.

I'm manly enough to admit that made me cry.

What I love is the fact that it was a non-issue, the kid was in no way bothered and is still playing the game, and the dad is like it's insensitive and will hurt her feelings, she says she didn't hear it which means she's not ready to handle it.
god we're turning our kids into wusses. My wife and I are considering the possibility of adopting some day, I hope I never react that way like that moron.

Oh God please let Valve have Cave Johnson make a video response.
Next week: "Dress-Up Game" Team Fortress 2 contains "graphic" violence!
The week after: "Sports game spitting on the concept of fair sportsmanship - the Mortal Kombat Scandal!"
Anyway: Bwahahahahaha. So the villain is villainous.
I bet he's using it as an excuse. The game does make fun of idiots and overweight people. Poor daughter of his has to be the scapegoat for his indignation.
This is even better than the thing they did about the pigeon ad for the Ford Ka.
But it only goes to show that TV will broadcast everything, no matter how moronic, if they don't have anything better to put on the air.
Educational - that's hilarious!

Make sure your kid will play Portal 1 + 2. You get to rip apart bad robots who make fun of adopted kids.

But... the cake is a lie!!!!

It's so unacceptable that....we'll repeat it several times during the segment. Oh, and include subtitles in case you can't understand it .
This is so potentially horribly that...I'll discuss it in front of the kid that I'm supposedly concerned about.
Yeah. Nothing to put a troubled girl - one you think is suppressing the whole incident no less - at ease like putting her in front of a camera and letting lots and lots of people see it.
That poor child. She's adopted - by a total moron.
