Sneak Attack Triggering on Critical Hits

Homebrew and House Rules

So what do people think about the idea of Sneak Attack Damage triggering on a Critical Hit, regardless of conditions of sneak attack (not flanking, creature not dexless or flat-footed)? This sneak attack damage would not be doubled. Creatures still immune to sneak attack/critical hits would continue to be immune.

There was a feat called telling blow in 3.5. I would not allow it without a feat though.

Are you concerned that it increases damage too much?

It can, and there is no reason for the rules to work like that. Rogues do enough damage without it. I am not totally against it. I am just not against it for free(without a feat, not as part of an archetype).

I agree with the wraith, It's a good powerup and worth at least a feat or maybe an advanced rogue talent.

Sounds feat-worthy, though I would put it in a feat tree, not just stand alone.
