Not able to get tickets to the banquet? Same here and that's okay! I'm hoping to hang out with other rejects at the Hotel's bar (and bar area...there are tables...I think). I know a couple of us will bring quick table top games in case we want to play something. Muuuwahaha!

Let's face it, that banquet lasts a while and I know I'm going to be at PaizoCon during it, so why not enjoy the down-time with friends?

Here is a link to the event I posted on facebook, but even if you don't have facebook feel free to stop by and say hi. It may only end up being me and one or two other people ...but hey, that's cool too! ;o)

After having spent *ahem* time there I can say there are indeed tables. Waltero and I are trying to get a group to do some PFS gaming while the banquet is going on. We had a few maybes and are still casting the net hoping to get some folks interested.

I'm all for more gaming since I too didn't manage to snag one of the tickets either. Especially PFS since PaizoCon is probably all the live PFS action I'm gonna get for a while.

Hi Gembar,

Been there! It took us forever to find a Pathfinder game much less a PFS game here in New Orleans. Waltero will be at the meet and eat on Thursday if you happen to see him around...he'll be trying to scare up a few people. I'll be coming in a little later that night. We're also trying to put together a game Thursday night as well (around 9 PMish...I should be at the hotel by then.) Will you be there Thursday night as well?

Cheers,
Ed

Gembar -

You're in the same boat as Chow'd Mouse and I. We had the same goals at last year's con. We will be playing a low level PFS scenario in place of the Grand Melee (Friday night) and another one Saturday night since we aren't going to the banquet. You are welcome to join us.

Waltero

Ninja'd by Chow'd Mouse! Well played, sir!

I'd be up for gaming. I volunteered to run CoCo with pre-gens on another thread.

I sadly don't come in til 11:29 PM Thursday; the glories of flying in from AK after work.

Liberty's Edge

Bummer. I've got pretty much the same situation but I took a half day to leave a littler earlier. Still the flight from N'awlins is loooong. Luckily the time change works in our favor. :) As Waltero mentioned, we'll be looking to game Friday and Saturday afternoon/nights as well, so hope to see you then.

This is digressing I know--but what exactly IS the Grand Melee? How exactly does that work?

Thanks!

You can listen to the latest Know Direction episode and get a pretty good idea. Thanks to Ryan Costello for getting the interview with Mark about it!

Ah thanks! Got it up on my iPhone S I write (Though my connection started out sluggish.

Sounds like the Melee's more tactics/straight-up combat than it is RP; thinking I might re-evaluate my Fri. night and see what I can find in a more RP-centric leaning. '-)

Liberty's Edge

Yep. That's pretty much where I'm at too. Hope to see you at the tables.
