Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I hope this doesn't come off as strange but... I never noticed it was a martial weapon. I thought it was a monk weapon fir some reason and only noticed tonight when hero labs red flagged it for non proficiency. which is when I looked it up.

Yeah, for some reason I thought it was exotic until I was making a rogue a few weeks ago and Herloab wouldn't let me buy the skill with exotic weapon proficiency.

I thought it remained exotic until I read this thread :)
Those awful 3.5 habits... 3.0 habits in fact. It was changed in 3.5 to martial and I never noticed!

In 3.0, it was a tiny weapon with the stats of a small martial weapon. Thus, it had to be exotic.

In 3.5, they changes the weapon size rules. Now both small and tiny weapons were light for medium-size characters (and small weapons were smaller versions of the medium-size weapon). A light weapon with the kukri's stats is okay for a martial weapon.

yeah I eventually found it I'n the 3.0 srd.. again had not e en realized anyone kept a 3.0 srd:P

just funny I didn't notice throughout 2 editions. at least I didn't actualy play a character with it. hey your monk cant actually use the weapon he's used for 6 levels is always embarrassing.
