Bestiary 2 Cover Critter: Is it the Jabberwocky?

Product Discussion

hey anyone know if the critter here:
http://paizo.com/image/product/catalog/PZO/PZO1116_500.jpeg

is a Pathfinder version of:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:TheJabberwocky.jpg

I keep on looking at it and thinking it sure looks like it. Coincidence or intentional design?

The Jabberwocky should rule the world!

Yes, it is a jabberwocky. And it includes stats for them inside.

My group already killed one. Of course, they are 16th level and our rogue has that pesky vorpal short sword named Starscream (formerly known as the Sword of Kas).

Edit: You can also get the mini here.

It's intentional- the stats are in the book! :)

thanks for the reply,

I'm glad to here vorpal swords are in the game. I assume swords of sharpness are in as well. One of the things I'm curious about is the return of items of great power but awesome fun. Things like the vorpal sword and the sphere of annihilation. Ive never have had either one of those but I like the idea of possible finding one some day.

Long live power and fun, death to the obsession with balance,

It isn't a jabberwocky. It's a jabberwock. Grarrrr!

I blame Lewis Carroll for putting one thing in the title and another in the poem. As far as I am concerned both are correct.

Is it a craven, backstabbing sword? Can it turn into an airplane?

Who's up for a Snickers snack?
