Okay, after avoiding this for quite a while, I decided to give it a go. While I am not convinced that the intent was not to create an A-Team cartoon in disguise, I am kind of enjoying it. I really liked Major Bludd actually going toe to toe with Snake Eyes, and while not winning, at least holding his own for awhile in episode 3. I am not sure I like some of the reimaginings of the characters like Breaker, but we will see how things go. I still hold out hope that Duke and the gang can convince everyone that Cobra is evil and then go kick butt like the big happy family they should be.

I actually think it's a good approach for 'reimaging'. You have your core characters, and recurring roles (though I don't like Destro's mask). The kids watching it can enjoy their heroes, while the adults watching it with their kids* can enjoy the cameos and in jokes as a result.

It's not so bad. Hardcore fans of the original series should buy the DVDs if they want to watch the original series. Let someone else give it a try every now and again. I'm liking the transformers prime as well, although it's a bit on the cheesy side.
Ratchet's become my favourite character. :-)

I was hoping Wheeljack would stick around.

I agree to a point. My big grip with "Breaker" is that the old Joes had a hacker, Mainframe. The homage would have been better if the had used Mainframe IMO. Of course I also must admit that Mainframe was one of my favorite lesser known characters, so I would have liked to have him back in the spotlight.
Edit: I also would not mind more reimaginings like Jinx. Meow!
